Can you tell us a bit about your background and what led you to join Phastar?
I hold an M.S. in Statistics and have almost 15 years of experience working on clinical trials across both CRO and pharmaceutical settings. I’ve contributed to numerous studies across different therapeutic areas, gaining extensive experience in study design, analysis, and data interpretation. I was drawn to Phastar for its reputation for excellence in biostatistics and data science, and for the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals who are passionate about improving clinical research outcomes.
What is your role at Phastar, and what do you enjoy most about your day-to-day responsibilities?
I work as an FSP Statistician, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and deliver accurate, meaningful insights. I enjoy the collaborative nature of the role, as each project brings new challenges and opportunities to apply statistical thinking to make a real impact on patient lives.
What has been your favorite moment or achievement at Phastar so far?
One highlight has been contributing to a DMC for a study with a complex design, where teamwork and technical expertise came together seamlessly to meet tight timelines. It was rewarding to see the team’s efforts recognized and to know that we exceeded the sponsor’s expectations.
What opportunities for growth or professional development have you had since joining the team?
Phastar has many talented people who are always willing to share their knowledge and experiences. I’ve learned so much through our bitesize meetings, statistical presentations, and training sessions. The mentorship and knowledge-sharing culture here have been truly invaluable.
