We are proud to announce that Phastar has improved its EcoVadis sustainability score, achieving a commendable 60 this year. This progress places us within the top 35% of companies, earning a prestigious bronze rating.

EcoVadis is a trusted global provider of business sustainability ratings, helping organizations measure and improve their impact on society and the environment. With a strong commitment to advancing our environment, social, and governance (ESG) agenda, we aim to achieve a silver rating next year by further enhancing our sustainable initiatives.

Our bronze rating reflects our dedication to leading the CRO industry in Corporate Responsibility and ESG practices. Phastar is committed to continuously raising the bar in sustainability, ensuring we lead with responsible business practices that benefit our communities, employees, clients and the environment. At Phastar, we strive to be a great company to work with and work for, fostering a collaborative, supportive environment that enables our team and clients to thrive.

In addition to our EcoVadis score, Phastar was recently recognized in the 2024 Environment 100 List, an accolade that further underscores our leadership in corporate responsibility.  Additionally, Phastar’s net-zero target was approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2023, which includes our commitment to achieve the SBTi’s Net-Zero Standard by 2035.

As part of our broader ESG efforts, Phastar is a certified B Corporation®, reflecting our commitment to being a purpose-led organization. We also operate a pro bono scheme, offering charities free access to our biometrics experts, alongside our Stats Helpdesk, which provides biotech companies with free statistical consultation. Phastar is committed to making a positive impact in our community, and to support this goal, we offer employees paid volunteer days. This can be used individually or as part of a team activity, allowing employees to engage in meaningful service while fostering personal and professional growth.

Furthermore, Phastar has adopted Alzheimer’s Disease International as our global charity. We aim to coordinate fundraising efforts across all regions, both at a corporate and individual level, to ensure we can make a bigger impact in supporting this vital cause.

At Phastar, we’re committed to driving sustainability in the CRO industry through responsible business practices that benefit our communities, employees, patients and clients and shape the future of clinical development.
